Berlin - The Visible Silences

Berlin is a city concealed within its layers of memory and its wounds turned invisible. It is there, in these interstices, that my street photography truly makes sense: not standing before the monuments, but off to the side, where history surfaces without ever fully imposing itself.

A deliberate wandering.

Every walk was a journey with no fixed destination. It was in this "nothing" that the essential appeared: shadows beneath a doorway, a blind facade, human figures barely sketched. Berlin imposes a different rhythm, forcing you to slow down. It doesn't seek to seduce, it imposes its own raw emotional geography.

The weight of the unspoken.

At every corner, I felt the sensation that something had been there and was no longer. As if the walls remembered silences that only the camera can translate. My images don't seek to illustrate the past, but to capture how it continues to exist in a tenuous form: a half-open curtain, or an empty street at noon.

A ghost city, alive.

This series is a dialogue with a ghost city. Not because it is dead, but because it lives differently, in its visible silences and its absences full of meaning.
