Vienna - Imperial Elegance

Vienna is a city of prestige and discretion. In this street photography series, I wanted to capture this duality: the elegance of the grand boulevards versus the intimacy of hidden cafes and side streets. Vienna is photographed with a form of respectful restraint.

The urban scene.

Museums, opera houses and palaces offer majestic backdrops. I photographed the way Viennese people inhabit these places with natural ease. My eye was drawn to the play of symmetry, the geometry of the gardens and the soft light bathing the pastel facades. It is a city of straight lines and graceful curves.

A taste for detail.

Vienna is also savored in its corners. A reflection in a pastry shop window, an old poster on a wall, a fleeting gesture on the metro. I sought to balance the monumental and the minuscule, to convey a city that cultivates excellence in every field.

This series is a visual waltz. It reflects my fascination with a city that knows how to preserve its beauty without becoming a frozen museum, offering the photographer an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
